Farrier Terms & Conditions 2017
All proceeding Terms & Conditions are voided.

  • The Horse’s owner, or representative must be present during the entire duration that farrier  work is being done on the horse(s).WORK WILL NOT BE STARTED OR COMPLETED OTHER WISE!                                                                                         
  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of services rendered, payment may be either cash or a check to Bighorn Blacksmithing.                                                                     
  • Horses that are over two years old must be properly trained to stand and have its hooves worked on. WE DO NOT WORK ON HORSES THAT ARE BAD-MANNERED, and will discontinue working on one that we fill is becoming unsafe for us, the owner or itself.                                                                                                                                           
  • It is the horse owner, or representatives job to catch and hold the horse, as well as discipline or drug (if needed.) WE DO NOT!                                                                                                                                         
  • Training, lunging (or "working") the horse that needs it should all be done prior to the appointment. WE DO NOT DO ANY OF IT!                                                                  
  • The Ideal Location for us to work on a horse is in a well-lit barn or shop on a clean level cement floor. WE DO NOT WORK IN THE RAIN, MUD, OR SNOW.                  
  • Horses are expected to be kept on a regular schedule. Additional charges may be applied for neglected hooves.                                                                                                 
  • The appointment time is for us to work on your horse NOT YOU! So please have the horse unsaddled, or its driving harness, or blanket off. Do not groom, feed, train, or de-worm etc.  THANK YOU
